The house was clean although a little worn and could have done with a facelift. It was comfortable and spacious but did not meet expectations nor did it truly reflect the description. Host seemed lovely although I didn’t meet them. Too many house rules for a holiday home such as signs in the bathroom advising you to use a toilet brush, and advised of deposit deductions for braking any of the rules.

Breakfast great plenty of it. Just had to go for an unexpected walk to the cash point as Breakfast was cash only. Don't remember being told at check in.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.

The staff were exceptional - very friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding! Eggs florentine for breakfast was superb and a wonderful lunch shared with a friend (who was also very impressed) 😊 Having hired an electric car for my stay in Cornwall I was over the moon that there were complimentary charging points in the car park. Most grateful!
Welcome from reception was very warm, the hotel, restaurant and gardens were spotlessly clean with plenty of parking on site. The accommodation was more like an apartment rather than a hotel room, very spacious and decorated to a very modern high standard. The restaurant had a lovely ambience with wide selection on both drink and food menus. Would recommend as a base for exploring this part of Cornwall.
Peaceful setting with beautiful and interesting plants planted by Chelsea Flower Show specialist. Ideal place to stay with a dog as surronded by fields. Beautifully decorated and spacious bedroom. Breakfast was delicious. Plenty of parking spaces.
