Well equipped, tastefully furnished and very convenient for the station for visits to Edinburgh and Burntisland. Although close to the station, it was a very quiet road and not much noise from the neighbours. There was a well stocked co-op a short walk away and a couple of pubs (but didn't try them).

Great location, charming house. 30 minute drive to the University of St Andrews (stayed here for a graduation visit and it worked out really well). Plenty of parking and easy drive to Edinburgh/airport from this location. Nicely decorated and thoughtful inclusions from host to help guests with information, slippers, snacks.

The staff was wonderful. The rooms have been updated and feel like a high end hotel in a historic building. There is parking on-site. Downstairs is a wonderful restaurant with Indian and Nepalese food. The staff treated us as if we were in a high end restaurant with hot towels and chocolate. There were typical Indian dishes on the menus, but we asked for recommendations for food from Nepal. The servers were happy to give us recommendations and the food was wonderful.
