The staff were very accommodating and welcoming. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast also was really great, and we had it delivered via room service - it was a very speedy service and the food arrived still nice and warm. Plenty of car park space as well.

The location was brilliant with a room upstairs overlooking the River Dee. The main building is ancient and the Great Hall a comfortable place to relax. Staff were attentive, plenty of parking and some real history surrounding the property. Beautiful sunset views over the river and yes, fish jumping.

The quiet, beautiful setting by the river Dee the history and architecture of the building. Good atmosphere in the small snug bar. Excellent food and menu choices. Staff friendly young locals. Most of the decor and furnishings well tasteful and well co ordinated. There were riverside walks and seating. Easy parking. We enjoyed tasting a whisky nightcap.
