Lovely rural location. Great place for the overnight stay we needed. Dog friendly. Loved it being near the canal and Foxton Locks.

The George was better than expected. The public areas were clean. The restaurant overlooks a beautiful garden. Breakfast was amazing, nothing too much trouble.
We were attending a wedding function in a different area and the staff were extremely helpful in offering to book taxis etc.

Lovely house with a beautiful little garden. Very well equipped (OK Google, play some relaxing music 😊). Quiet and comfortable. The TV room and gym in the basement are great. The rooms are big enough, the beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen has all you need to cook. The living room is warm and cozy. Parking is easy. The supermarket is a 5-minute walk away, there are restaurants nearby, the village is nice and peaceful, and it’s a quick drive to Oadby or Leicester.

Loved the open courtyard and the seating area. It’s right in the centre so excellent for local shops, restaurants etc. Plenty of food options at the hotel and a couple of bars too. It has a very open and welcoming feeling. Rooms were clean with kettle, iron and tv provided. Nice touch to get free parking too.
The room was spacious and had good facilities- nice shower and toiletries, flat screen tv, tea and coffee making facilities with food quality tea and coffee and biscuits/ water.Superb breakfast with freshly made scrambled egg and good quality bacon and sausage. Very friendly service from reception, bar and staff. Nice selection of local beer in the bar.Excellent car parking right outside the hotel.
