What a gem this place is. Small and perfectly formed, an open plan living room/kitchen with everything we needed to be comfortable. The bed in the separate bedroom was comfortable and the location was excellent - out of town to be quiet, but an easy 20 minute walk to the centre of this beautiful town. Hosts friendly and checked we had all we needed. Shower was good pressure.

Amazing location close to city centre. Close to the Queen’s Pub. Best sure to book for the roast dinner! Tallow House is close enough to walk back after shopping and before you go out for dinner. Communication with host, Amanda, was excellent. We were able to check in a little early and we were invited to leave a little later if we were catching a later train. The room was excellent; light and airy and beautifully decorated. Amanda had thought of everything. There is a wee kitchenette with kettle, coffee and teas, plates, bowls and cereal and milk for breakfast. There is wineglasses and a corkscrew, as well as a cutting board and knife. We loved our stay at Tallow House and would highly recommend it.
