Exceptionally welcoming hosts, Ed and Hester, who treated you like family into their home which is set atop a hill with panoramic views of the glorious countryside. Nothing was too much trouble. A fabulously comfortable bed and a lovely home cooked full breakfast that set you up for the day. Highly recommended.

Such a great welcome from Tracey and her team. We were visiting the Cotswolds Distillery and she arranged a lift there and back. The locals are very welcoming. I would absolutely recommend The George to anyone wanting a break in the north of the Cotswolds.

Perfect stay at The Lion — the room was spacious, clean, in keeping with the age of the pub, and bed was very comfortable. The food was really great - we had dinner and breakfast and both were superb. The steak pie was delicious! Mark was such a great host. He helped organise a taxi to the wedding we were going to which was a big help. We’d love to come back one day.

A beautiful old Coaching Inn, wonderful surroundings and comfortable, spotless room. The bar had a lovely open fire and the garden was lovely, level and well kept. Ample easily accessible car parking. It was friendly, dog friendly (the bar) and very welcoming. The Proprietress was extremely helpful and we will definitely be recommending and stay here again. The food was lovely with generous portions and we felt that the pricing was very reasonable for the quality.
