The whole experience of staying at Ribble Heights Holiday Lodge was absolutely perfect.
Upon booking we quickly received an email from the host with information about how we would be able to access the lodge.
The day before our stay the host sent us videos about how to navigate the twists and turns if the park leading to our particular lodge. For someone like me, who had a terrible sense of direction, this was brilliant as it enabled us to find the lodge on the first attempt. The instructions about how to access the lodge were also really clear.
The Lodge itself was absolutely beautiful. Decorated so nicely... definitely a home from home feel. The entire lodge was absolutely spotless and all bedding and towels were included. The area around the lodge is very peaceful, with beautiful views. We were lucky enough to have brilliant weather so it was lovely to sit out on the balcony at all times of day and evening.
We stayed at the Lodge for two nights as a couple however this would be more than suitable for a family. There is plenty of space and plenty of storage space as well.
Everything you could need was avaliable. The appliances were all of a high quality and well looked after.
My partner and I travel a lot and use various properties/air b&b's. I can honestly say that this was the best property we have stayed in. The host has thought of absolutely everything.
For me personally, one thing I really liked was that cleaning products were left avaliable. If you're staying for more than a couple of days, this is perfect to keep the place fresh.

it is convenient for our purpose and comfortable and pleasant enough. Other than that the cottage is not that inspiring and I wouldn't discribe it as having a lovely atmosphere. There are some nice walks along the River Ribble a short drive away.

Great location with easy parking. Good size rooms and comfortable large beds. Good choice on the dinner and breakfast menus, however personally I would like to have seen more fruit on the continental section of the breakfast.

Lovely location and rooms, plenty of free parking and extensive beautiful grounds. Very friendly family running the hotel. We didn't eat dinner in the restaurant but plenty of choice for a delicious breakfast, felt like lord and lady of the manor for a day 🙂
