The hotel has an excellent location on the High Street, with a large car park to the rear. It has a large, welcoming bar with roaring fires, comfy seating and a separate restaurant (which closes at 8pm on Sundays, which was a bit early for us). There's a large beer garden at the back too, although it was a bit cold in November to make use of it. The real ales and wine were both very good. Our room (no.6) was a small double, with large and comfortable bed, good sized separate shower/WC, bathrobes and toiletries and plenty of supplies for the kettle and coffee machine. The chocolate biscuits paired with the coffee bags were delicious, as was the Sipsmith's sloe gin which was also complementary. Although small, the room was fine for a one night or even two night stay. Breakfast included fresh Greek yoghurt which was lovely, fresh juices, cereals, fresh fruit salad and a menu of cooked items (we were going out for lunch later so I only had a poached egg on toast, but full English inc. veggie is available).
Set in the ancient Aylesbury village of Weston Turville, this Innkeeper's Collection features free on-site parking and an on-site pub with roaring log fires. Aylesbury town centre and Go Ape!
