Castle View is in a great location, just up the hill from the ferry landing at Lochaline, with superb views from the bedroom window. It would be easy to base yourself there and travel across to Mull by ferry on a regular basis if you wished. The house is very nicely furnished and tastefully decorated and our room was perfect, with lots of thoughtful touches. Our hosts were welcoming, considerate, and generous, and Iain is a fantastic cook who will provide a choice of excellent evening meals if requested in advance. The continental breakfast was extensive and beautifully laid out. It was such a pleasure to stay there, and meeting Whisky, the most gentle of golden retrievers, topped off the whole experience.

What a beautiful location, with a view over the sea, the Isle of Mull and just next to the ferry to the Isle of Mull. The apartment was perfectly equipped (no washing machine and dryer though, but we did not need that), the beds were amazing and with a little groceries store and the local restaurant ‘around the corner’. We loved this place!
