Breakfast was OK, nothing special. Location was very convenient (just off the M4) and the vineyard grounds are beautifully kept. The room was clean and quiet.

We were visiting Llanerch Vinyard for a tour so this property was perfectly located for a short walk there and back (although the host kindly offered us a lift, which would have been perfect if it was raining!).
Apartment was lovely - light and airy, great facilities with a coffee pod machine that was unusually well-supplied with pods - thank you.
Bathroom was huge with a massive shower. Maybe a hook or two to hang towels and somewhere to put wash bags in all that space?
Host met us on arrival and communication was excellent. Set in the "middle of nowhere" (aka beautiful Welsh countryside) everything was very peaceful and would have made for a lovely and relaxing weekend had we had more time to explore the area.

Set in 650 acres of beautiful Welsh countryside, Vale Resort features a luxury spa, 2 championship golf courses and 2 restaurants. The resort is a 15-minute drive from Cardiff.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The rooms were clean and comfortable, although the ensuite shower rooms were quite small, albeit not unexpected at this price point. There was ample parking.
The staff, particularly the manageress, were friendly and helpful and the food, including the full Welsh breakfast, was good.
The location, which on first arrival seemed a bit far out, was actually quite convenient for access to the major roads around Cardiff.
It was very modern, clean and cosy. It looks like it has been recently decorated. We had plenty of towels etc and the utensils, blankets on the sofa etc so it was a very comfortable stay. The host was extremely helpful and very responsive. There was a small car park just down the road which was great as we had a Luton van with us which made parking easy. There is roadside parking for cars. Highly recommend and would stay again.
Gorgeous buildings in a picturesque setting - tranquility at its best. The room was perfectly clean and spacious, the bed super comfortable. We had supper and breakfast and they were both really tasty. The breakfast was a real winner; it set us up for the day! Staff were super friendly and happy to help. Plenty of parking.
So pleased we chose to stay here. Will definitely stay again for next year’s pilgrimage.

Walk across from motel style rooms to main house and dining room: lovely room, excellent breakfasts cost about 8.50.
Countryside location, but not far from major roads/ shops etc.large room, big enough to incude a sofa..Twin beds.....very hard to find twin beds where one isn't an ( uncomfortable) sofa bed.

Quiet rural location, which was nice after a long business day. Room was spacious and well equipped, all facilities and very comfy. Plenty of parking and nice people to deal with.
Lovely country setting. Loudest thing was the owl outside at night. Very pleasant room, lovely and clean, large bathroom. Comfortable sofa and tea and coffee making facilities. Car parking right outside the room.
