Pen-Rhos luxury glamping "Cuckoo's Nest", a property with a terrace, is set in Llandrindod Wells, 34 km from Clun Castle, 36 km from Dolforwyn Castle, as well as 38 km from Wigmore Castle. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. The property is non-smoking and is located 28 km from Elan Valley.

We stayed at Pen-Rhos in “Cuckoo’s Nest for four nights in mid January. The scenery surrounding the ‘cabin’ was breathtaking and there was enough space between each cabin for privacy. The space was small, but perfect for two and had every appliance we needed for meals and hot drinks. The bathroom was clean and the shower heated quicker than ours at home. Llandrindod Wells had a few pubs and grocery stores that were close and convenient. Surrounding cities like Newtown, Rhayader, and Builth Wells were great for pub dinners.

Four of us stayed here for one night to break up part of the Glyndŵr's Way walk we're doing. It was a fabulous location, delightful hosts, wonderful food, comfortable beds, hot showers, and lots of parking. Dinner was great after a long day's hike and the cooked breakfast was very nice and set us up for another big day of walking. We've driven past it for years, but finally had an excuse to stay the night. Highly recommend!

Three night break in early November. Very friendly owners. Room warm and comfortable. Nice views towards river. Breakfasts very good, full 'English' with as much toast as you want. Evening meals good - standard pub classics or very nice Indian curries, well priced. Good choice of drinks, not overly expensive. Plenty of parking available. Well situated for local towns and Elan Valley visits. Would certainly recommend.
