The location of the barn was amazing. It was quiet and we had our own space to play games outside. The facilities were great as well everyone loved the jacuzzi and the bbq pit was pretty useful, not only to cook our dinner but to also keep us warm during the November evening! The size of the living room was great especially the fireplace. The collection of movies in the cabinets and drawers was pretty awesome! (We ended up watching all the hobbit movies)

The accommodation was extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need, so it made the place immediately feel like home. The shower was lovely and hot with good water pressure. The setting was incredibly peaceful and relaxing which was exactly what we were hoping for. It was amazing to have BBQ facilities, that really took the experience to the next level. We stayed at Pen-Rhos in “Cuckoo’s Nest for four nights in mid January. The scenery surrounding the ‘cabin’ was breathtaking and there was enough space between each cabin for privacy. The space was small, but perfect for two and had every appliance we needed for meals and hot drinks. The bathroom was clean and the shower heated quicker than ours at home. Llandrindod Wells had a few pubs and grocery stores that were close and convenient. Surrounding cities like Newtown, Rhayader, and Builth Wells were great for pub dinners.
