A unique rural & quite unusual 'Hotel' - It is not what I would call boutique but it is very comfortable with many historical features in the common areas and the room that we were in was great. The evening meal was prepared by the owner (4th generation in the family I believe) & was excellent & not expensive. Breakfast was perfect and again prepared by the owner. The grounds are wonderful and perfect for an afternoon or evening stroll & I understand the owner also runs an Equine centre adjacent so Horsey folks are well catered for.

The private gravelled garden was excellent for the dog. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The layout was good with the lounge/diner/kitchen upstairs and the bedrooms/bathroom downstairs.

Room was spacious, bed was huge. Secure access to the accommodation which was seperate to the pub. Loads of parking. The free breakfast had lots of options available and was delicious.
