Staff were excellent was initially given wrong type of room but this was sorted quickly and with no fuss. Food was great we had breakfast and also meal in bar in the evening (burgers were delicious).Complimentary still and fizzy water on tap in the corridors was a bonus. Loved the Elemis toiletries in the bathroom. Great to look out the bedroom windows and see the squirrels running about on the lawn. Would definitely stay here again.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The property is in a good location and easy to get to. The gardens and surrounding area are particularly well kept and there is plenty of car parking, we used this as we were visiting Chester Zoo and it is only a 10-15 minute drive which is good. Our room was okay, it was good for one night no real complaints.
Beautiful old manor in a quiet, relaxing setting ,just off the Chester road.
Warm ,cosy ,clean room. Comfortable bed .Friendly staff. Ample car parking
Great location for visiting the Wirral ,Chester ,Cheshire Oaks or Liverpool at a very reasonable and competitive price.
We didn't sample the food ,but the Bar and restaurant areas looked very inviting!
Good car parking. Good meal at dinner. Check out staff were good. Servers at dinner were good. A goog looking hotel in a pretty setting. It looked as though it could be a good venue for weddings and perhaps is geared more to that market.
Comfortable bed in spacious room. Decor a little dated but very clean. Elemis products in bathroom and tea and coffee provided along with individual shortbread biscuits. Water station in hallway where you could fill up jug provided in room with chilled still or sparkling water. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Lovely breakfast. Ideal location for Cheshire Oaks shopping village and Chester. Free onsite parking. Free use of spa pool, steam room and sauna.
Beautiful setting. Gorgeous grounds. Free car parking. Historic building that remains steeped in its history.
Breakfast was lovely.
Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Special mention of the Irish receptionist and Will (who I believe has now left). Oh and the lady serving breakfast was lovely too.
Good check in and check out times.
Breakfast was excellent with the cooked breakfast being brought to you and was pretty quick. The Hotel sits in nice grounds with plenty of car parking which is near the main entrance. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The price of the hotel represented good value for money.
