There was a large range of breakfast options. We had the breakfast delivered to our room. We've never had this option before.
The staff were excellent and did everything they could to make sure our stay was enjoyable.
Our room was spotlessly clean.

Incredible hotel. It was clear that from the very top to the very bottom, everyone at this hotel seriously cares about giving the very vest customer experience possible.
The whiskey room was such a classy touch for a hotel in Scotland. I've never seen it before and the girl there was an incredible whiskey host.
Waitressing staff and management too were all amazing.
Very very good, best hotel I've stayed in in a long time.

Really good value for money. The room was a good size and included little extras like a small fridge and a bit of crockery and cutlery, useful as we had a takeaway from Milan as couldn't find anywhere to eat on a Sunday night. A comfortable bed and a couple of chairs and modern TV all making a bit of extra comfort.

Everything you needed was in the room. Everyone was lovely and helpful. There was a welcome tray with goodies and a coffee machine. The property is back of the cafe where you have breakfast which is amazing. Beautiful scenery around and well situated for a lot of places of interest.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Great breakfast selection and quality. Old style hotel with cosy bar and friendly staff and appears to be well supported by the locals. On a bus route to Kelso but the operating hours are limited in the evening however we were able to get a taxi back. Good parking available in front of the pub along with a beer garden.
The apartment was very large with a comfortable living space and dining area. The kitchenette had most things you would need.
The beds were huge and very comfortable and spacious rooms.
We had dinner in the pub which was delish and breakfast the next morning which was made to order. Was a really nice stay. The location was good for us for moving on for the next day. Would be good for hikers.
Parking out front.
Location perfect. House was lovely. Parking directly outside house. Rooms very comfortable. Had everything we needed, including use of travel cot and high Chair. All 3 bedrooms were very spacious. Main bedroom had beautiful views. Kitchen well stocked with equipment and lovely box of breakfast stuff to keep us going for the first day (eggs bacon sausages cereal milk bread) lovely touch!
