Lovely clean, quiet and very homely place to stay. Great breakfast and lovely friendly hosts, i would definitely recommend it as a place to stay, and very convenient to get to, as just of motor way, which was great for going to Falkirk or Edinburgh.

Stated when I was booking I would arrive just after 4 which I did. I tried calling contact number I was sent in confirmation and phone off alday. Turned up at property, looked like abandoned, mail hanging out letter box which was being held up by tape. So left and had to book another place. Received email from owner over 2 hours later with and code but by then paid for another place. I would avoid.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
We had a great 2 night stay in 2 rooms. The hosts were great, lovely breakfast, even at 7am on the first day. Even though it's close to the M8 in the room there was no noise at all. There's a nice communal area if you want to relax or eat a takeaway. Plenty of parking and it's well out of the way so very secure. Great information book and recommendations for local eateries and taxis. All in all excellent and great value.
Clean warm property with oodles of space and loads of storage, parking no problem. Very quite area no traffic. Very scenic as advertised. Plenty of kitchen facilities. Large Fridge/Freezer, microwave , oven, toaster and plenty of hot water.
Showers are all electric and worked well. Large TV with Sky and Wi-Fi. There is a railway station in Shotts just a 7 minute drive away with free parking and plenty of trains to Edinburgh or Glasgow. Great place to chill out in, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
