Absolutely amazing stay. It felt so magical there, from the view of the tower, to the vintage decor of the room, to the delicious private meal we had in the stunning Great Hall. Tobias was so welcoming and friendly and even gave us a tour inside the castle, which they had renovated so beautifully. A lovely breakfast was served in our room the next day and even their sweet peacock, Perry, came to say hi. Thank you so much for making my birthday so special. We will definitely be back!

A nice, comfortable hotel situated on the waterfront with friendly, accomodating staff. We spent two nights at the hotel and ate in the bar each night. the food was of a good standard. it is certainly worth booking your meal even if you are staying because it does get busy. We ate breakfast in the hotel and, again, this was plentiful and of good quality. The rooms are standard but comfortable and the bathroom is dated but has everything you would expect.
There is parking behaind the hotel but it might fill up when the hotel is busy.
The hotel is well placed for a variety of leisure activities. It was very clean and welcoming. The food was delicious and the staff couldn’t do enough to help.
Parking is easy in the private car park.
The breakfast was fantastic, nothing too much trouble, the location was lovely, hotel opposite the estuary, boats were moored up, friendly staff, met some lovely people staying at the hotel with us. Couldn’t have asked for a better location, parking was on site.
Lovely compact granny flat. We' ve stayed here on many occasions and have to say John and Una go out of their way to make you welcome. Spotlessly clean and in a great area for exploring. Off road parking was a real bonus
Brilliant view, fantastic location, staff really welcoming. This time of year its a busy little pub, with a lovely atmosphere. Good parking and the staff kindly reserved us a table as we hadn't realised how busy it could get. The breakfast was good. Bar food was ok, just standard pub food.
