Beautifully and respectfully maintained old Inn in idyllic riverside location. Room and bed superb, breakfast was out of this world and the staff were professional, efficient, welcoming and ever smiling. The entire experience was beyond a delight.

Historical ambience was wonderful. Staff were all helpful and pleasant. The carvery meal which we enjoyed that night had an excellent vegetarian nut roast with a vegetarian gravy especially supplied, and a good selection of veg to go with it. The breakfast the next morning was fabulous.
We apparently had a free room upgrade. I'm not sure what the difference would have been. Our room was wonderful.
