The cabin was clean and welcoming. It’s well situated, with lovely walks nearby. Cosy and warm with the log burner, it was just perfect. The hot tub was also a welcome addition! There are Some lovely restaurants in Oban which is a short drive away. We absolutely loved our break and will be returning in the future.

The house is one of the best supplied self-catering houses I have every stayed in and free bottled water, shampoo, cleaning products, spices and other bits and pieces were nice. The pictures really jazz the place up. The views are simply amazing. The host providing a free bucket of scallops that he had dived for himself was fabulous. The peace and quiet, but only 3 miles from Oban is fabulous. FInally, walking distance to the Barn pub, which I know of old; the icing on the cake.

The manager of the holiday park was great. Houses, though a little retro ;), are lovely, have everything you need and location is stunning. We had a view over the hills and the lake and had breakfast and dinner outside with that view. Just lovely! Much space in between the houses, enough room and enough relaxed silence to enjoy nature. Nice to be able to do some washes at the park itself. Nearby Oban, with lot's of things to do. Take a note at Harris Tweed, shops with nice souvenirs, coffee and whiskey, fresh fish to have for lunch or dinner and lot's of opportunities to get a boat to the islands, like Iona, Mull, Skye, Kerrera, Staffa etc.. Several supermarkets and petrol stations nearby. Also take a note of Kilmartin, there's lot's to explore when you like heritage and stories of knights templers and the native way of living, truly a hidden gem. Love to come back here in the future.
