The owners lives right next to bungalow...actually the bungalow is at the backyard of their site. They were very friendly and came in 5 mins whenever we needed something. They were also very hospitable; left us some chocolate, chips, apples, milk, coffee, tea, etc. The interior decoration of the bungalow was absolutely lovely. It was also well-equipped; the kitchen had everything we could expect. There was a smart tv, good wifi, etc. Also there was a great supermarket in 3 mins drive the owner recommended us. We just loved to stayed here!

The hosts are very welcoming, give great suggestions for things to do, and places to eat. The place is pristine and very nicely decorated. It is an excellent place to relax while still getting away from home.

Sam is a wonderful host! Friendly, helpful and welcoming. The location is beautiful, in the middle of fields with great view to the mountains and the area. Breakfast is absolutely exceptional! Rich, frash, tasty and local (even the eggs are from his friend's farm!) Our room was very clean and comfortable. The B&B is designed beautifully, with a thought about every detail. It made us feel like home. We would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone coming to Northern Ireland.

I stayed at Millbay house with a group of friends and our children. The house was perfect for the type of getaway. There was a huge garden for the kids to play in, the views from the house are beautiful, the beach is about a 3 minute drive away and there are a lovely towns near by (with excellent fish and chips in Kilkeel!). Our hosts were super helpful and attentive and the house was spotless and very comfortable. Planning our return trip already :)

This was our third trip to Ireland and we have had many wonderful and memorable B&B's stays while there. However, without a doubt, this was the most memorable of them all - and the bar had been set quite high with many of our previous B&B experiences. From the moment we walked in, we sensed that this place was special. Paddy is the 'ultimate host'. His welcome was like none other, and we felt 'at home' within minutes. The place is immaculate, and our room was extremely comfortable...with views that were among the best in all of Ireland. The sitting area outside our bedroom was beyond comfortable...a little fireplace, refrigerator, and a magnificent view. Paddy and Tracey have thought of everything - Our only regret is that Tracey was visiting family in the states when we were there - we definitely need to return to meet Tracey. And did I mention that the sheets were the best smelling sheets I have EVER enjoyed! Also, our cooked to order breakfast was outstanding! We hope to return soon. Thank you for everything!

Everthing! The house itself was spotlessly clean. The decor was bright and inviting with no marks anywhere. It was decorated to a high standard. Everything was there at hand. The kitchen was furnished with all that would be required on a home from home stay. Pauline supplied us with videos on how to operate the appliances therefore, we didn't need to contact her once with any issues, as we could refer back to videos when required. All very straightforward though. But the highlight is off course the stunning views of the majestic Mourne Mountains and the sea in the not too far distance. Beautiful part of the country.. Also the bonus of having use of the hot tub rounded the whole package of Quentenvale House up! There had been some reviews up about how Pauline was quite strict and came round whilst the guests were there. We found she ensured to let us know the rules and regulations regarding the hot tub etc, however this gave us the confidence in knowing the establishment was well run and looked after to a high degree. And we were not wrong. Our stay was totally uninterrupted with the exception of a lovely welcome message. We availed of the 10% discount card left for us off a meal in the local hotel, who picked us up at the door and dropped us home again. You couldn't ask for anything more. The location was very close to the beach. The property was amazing. It was very clean and the host had thought of everything to make our stay perfect. We will be back to stay and would definitely recommend to friends and family.
