Characterful independent hostel in a superb location. Very quiet and peaceful, but a short walk from the amenities of a small town. Impressive vynyl collection which sadly we did not have the time to enjoy, as we were just passing through. We will definitely visit again when next in this part of Scotland.

A friendly welcome with a cup of tea and delicious caramel slice says it all ! Our room was large,clean,and had everything we needed. Breakfast choice and quality was excellent. I would absolutely recommend this B&B for long or short stays.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The Hotel Manager is an absolute delight. Have stayed at this hotel several times and we are always greeted with a friendly, welcoming, smile. Nothing is too much trouble. It's why we go back. The nearby facilities of shops, fuel stations and eateries are an added bonus. Plenty of car parking available at no extra cost. The lake views, walks around the lake and the acceptance of dogs only further adds to the charm of this hotel.
Everything the room was large spacious with a fantastic view of the lake. Plenty of car parking spaces and a great walk for the dogs.
The room facilities were excellent great housekeeping and comfortable beds.
