Very peaceful location surrounded by fields and horses. Spotlessly clean with great facilities if you like cooking, I was a chef in a previous life so very happy to prepare a nice meal. Everything thought of to make for a very pleasant stay. It was all over to quickly. Didn't get to see much of the surrounding area but did find the local Sainsburys which was very well stocked if you want to spoil yourself. The drive out the next day showed that the countryside is stunning if you like walking.

A lovely little cottage which was comfortable and had almost everything we could have wanted for a one night stay. The staff were happy for an earlier check in time which was really appreciated as we were at a wedding at Healey barn for 2. The cottage has a comfortable seating area in front of a fire. Bring some wood if you want to use it. A comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and shower and toilet.
The location is great for visiting near by towns like corbridge and hexham and as mentioned we were attending a wedding at Healey so this accom was great for that.

Liked most of the accommodation for 1-2 nights. However, It was a small bedroom, comfy bed, nice bathroom. Living area good space . However there were NO blinds on the front windows. If you were sitting /cooking watching TV on an evening or during the day. People would pass your door and could see right inside your sitting area/ lounge. No real privacy except in Bedroom/ bathroom.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Nice spacious cottage, well decorated and kept clean. Good size bedrooms. Good location for Hadrian's Wall. Near by Pub Lion and Lamb very warm welcome and food good. Parking excellent for one vehicle at side of cottage
