Hansom House is wonderful. Rachael is a superb host. This was my second stay there. Last year I was alone, this year I travelled with my Mom. I asked Rachael if she could arrange an extra bed for me so that my Mom could sleep in the Queen bed and she put a superbly comfortable single bed into the room for me.
It was perfect for my Mom and I.
The room is always clean, and Rachael always makes sure there are little treats.
The one day when it was exceptionally hot, we arrived back with Pizza and Rachael allowed us to sit in the back garden and she brought us an ice cold pitcher of juice.
On another day, she delivered freshly baked fruit scones to our door - which were absolutely delicious.
I would highly recommend Hanson House to anyone that finds themselves in Hinckley. We spent 11 nights there.

A lovely warm welcome from Michelle (and Mac, later). The premises are an old converted house and stables so narrow, steep staircases and creaky floors which give great character. My room had an entrance area (where the tea and coffee making facilities were located) then through a door into the bedroom. Nice bathroom and then shower room at the back. Fun see-through kettle, nice array of tea and coffee sachets, biccies and chocolates. Gorgeous and very generous breakfast; eggs royale with two poached eggs and a huge portion of smoked salmon plus a lovely continental section.
The perfect stay, 2 bedroom, great location. Is situated in Stoke Golding, 26 km from De Montfort University, 27 km from FarGo Village, as well as 27 km from Drayton Manor Theme Park.

The annex is clean, comfortable, modern and stylish with high quality fixtures, fittings and appliances. We enjoyed our two night stay there. The owner Lee was very friendly and helpful.

Location was remote and quiet. Best thing was access to a pool, which was very quiet. Although slightly dilapidated and in need of repairs, it was nice to have access to a pool. Yeah, I like that as well. They’re all back.

Clean comfortable room and conference rooms. Nice amenities (shampoo, body wash). We had a super spacious room it was lovely! So much free parking spaces! The bed was super comfortable and the room well sound proofed, it was quiet even though outside our windows was the car park. Easy to navigate TV unlike some hotels. And dinner at the restaurant was pretty good too. Cheaper to pay breakfast at reception! We had such a comfortable night sleep.
