We adored thw cottage, in fact we didn't leave all weekend. Andy was on the end of the phone if we needed him. Quirky and relaxing, people mentioning lack of wood, can't expect owner to have wood on tap we felt.
Wood in town cheap. Just use stove when you plan to cook heat up about two hours beforehand and it keeps place cosy for hours.

The fixings and furnishings are 5 star and the attention to detail....everything at hand to fresh juice and milk supplied in the fridge with a little goody bag ..

Comms with the host were excellent. I like that there are shower and toilet facilities on site and there was a firebox & wood supplied so we could toast marshmallows. It was great to have the hot tub, the kids loved it. Rostrevor itself is a lovely spot. We stumbled across a wonderful trad session in the Rostrevor Inn and also had a delicious meal there.

Large, clean, close to Mourne mountains, excellent host
Very comfortable, well equipped, very high standard of fit and finish, spacious, luxurious, beautiful garden. Safe, secure, family friendly, excellent parking, quiet, beautiful, tranquil setting.
The house was beautiful. It had large bedrooms and the kitchen was huge with everything you could need to cook meals. There was plenty of space for parking. The very best thing about this house were the owners. They couldn't have been nicer or helpful. They helped us with problems we had, not with house, but with getting around the area, finding stores or places to eat. I think we will miss visiting with them the most.
Lovely 4 bed house, every thing you could think of is catered for, including coffee tea etc, including a supply of cereals. Linen cupboard full of white fluffy towels, comfy beds, plenty of parking, garden with BBQ. Great location for both Belffast & Dublin.
Excellent location for visiting the Mourne Mountains and County Down and perfect for our cycling trip. Good secure storage for our bikes, plenty of parking. High standard of decor, clean and spacious cottage and lovely views. Comfortable beds. Really quiet and dark at night which was lovely.
Absolutely beautiful home, when we arrived there was a lovely selection of pancakes, biscuits and tea and coffee available. Shortly after we arrived Barbara checked that we were happy with everything in the home. The house itself is situated in a beautiful part of the country with plenty of parking available.
