Rob was such a lovely host and gave us a a very warm welcome. Emma was also extremely friendly and they just couldn’t do enough for us during our stay, which was very special as my sister and I were staying the night before her wedding.

House in a beautiful location. Plenty of parking & views & gardens superb. Breakfast was excellent & the hosts were very good. Good directions were given for places to eat in the evening.
Excellent breakfast, beautiful gardens, staff was helpful and met all our needs, the room was lovely and in a charming setting. There were extra sitting rooms available. Would love to have had more time to enjoy this location, but were only there for sleeping and breakfast one night. Host gave us a very nice recommendation for dinner as well. Easy free parking.
What a beautiful place to stay. The accommodation was in keeping with the historic building. The bed was super comfy and the en-suite was well-presented. Clean to a high standard. I had a restful stay in lovely surroundings. Whilst off the beaten track there were food offerings (pubs and restaurants nearby but a car drive away). Loads of secure car parking. Sally was very welcoming and the breakfast was lovely with lots of good coffee and quality ingredients. I would definitely stay again.
very quiet location, no traffic noise, beautiful Elizabethan building, homely feel, very good breakfast, gorgeous garden with abundant birds, plenty of parking, 5 minute walk to the castle, numerous footpaths in all directions and lovely views over the Pevensey levels.
A superb 4 night stay was enjoyed in an exceptionally quiet location with the guaranteed highlight of the wonderful Cleavers Lyng breakfasts! Good wifi and safe parking.
The room and all areas were immaculate, not a single cobweb in site. Furniture fitted in with the age of the property. Plenty of parking and a lovely place to sit and look over the fields. The breakfast offered was great and I have to say the cooked breakfasts were outstanding.
