The lodge was immaculately clean apart from the carpets. The lodge was warm and cosy. When we messaged the owners about needing a lodge with a sofa, they immediately came to the lodge and got us moved. Wonderful!!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Food high quality. Breakfast - full Scottish was excellent. Must be a great asset to the area.

The Tavern is situated in a quiet corner of the town, but is only a minute on foot from the river and close to the town centre. Our room was very comfortable and light and of a decent size. The carpet was perhaps a little tired and the bathroom is basic but perfectly functional and clean. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant is a pleasant location. The staff were efficient and helpful. Car parking might be an issue from time-to-time, but we had no difficulty.

Brilliant location right in the centre of Haddington. It's a do it yourself facility with a well equipped kitchen, so you can get your own breakfast when you want and come and go as you please. The twin room we had was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Shared bathroom with one other room but no problem. Really good value for money. No parking at the property but plenty of street parking near. Also plenty of sandwich shops and cafes near.

The staff were all so friendly and great, they couldn't do enough to help us at every point. Plenty of free parking spaces. Generally a great location as a base to have a few days exploring the East Coast - certainly alot cheaper then in North Berwick and only 10 mins in the car
