This is the nicest looking hotel in Gretna. It's clean and been modernised sympathetically to the traditional building. The grounds are well kept and picturesque. The staff couldn't be more helpful.

Nice clean room with tea and coffee making facilities. Quiet hotel, had a good night sleep with no disturbances. Easy access with free parking just outside the hotel.
The hotel and our room was lovely. Outside plants annd landscaping were very pretty. Large free car parking area. Ideal position for visiting the blacksmith area as it was just across the street. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Bed was comfortable with quality bedding.
All the staff were very good and helpful, the room was large and very clean, the meals were good and well cooked. There was ample car parking and the bar and dining area was good. The hotel was very clean and tidy. The only problem was the plumbing. The radiators worked, the sink cold tap took an age to run water and only when it was turned fully on. It could have been me, but I could not get the shower to run at a good temperature. Apart from that I was pleased with my stay and would visit again.
