Lovely little Shepherd hut with its own garden space and gorgeous views. Decorated beautifully by our super welcoming host. We have already said we will come back to explore the area a little more as its close to Hadrians wall and a roman fort with lots of walking trails nearby.

Friendly and helpful owners. Very clean room. Super comfy bed. Quiet location. Easy access to great walks. Given packed lunches as I don't eat breakfast, which was very kind.

Great location for walking on Hadrian's Wall and Pennine Way. Comfortable and well equipped cottage, plenty of space for 3 adults and a dog. Easy parking. Great views
Very clean room and hotel. Breakfast was excellent as was the food in the evening. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Local ales a bonus. Facilities for dogs were excellent. Towels handy to clean up your dog after walks. Very dog friendly and welcoming. We will stay again without hesitation. Parking was excellent and there are 2 charging points for electric cars.
The village is very well kept with a tea room, church and local river walks to an ancient castle.
The room was beautiful and so spacious! We had two very large suitcases and there was ample room for them. Bathroom and shower were also large and spacious. Room heated up lovely once we figured out the radiators and the bed and pillows were comfortable enough. The staff were lovely although I think quite busy when we arrived in the evening as they seem to run the restaurant as well as the front desk. Easy parking in a car park at the back.
Our room was comfortable and clean. I liked that you could park the car right outside the door and the room felt very private. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant /bar had a nice atmosphere. We ate here on both nights of our stay and the food was excellent.
Dinner and breakfast was excellent. Really enjoyed the nice big cafetiere of coffee with my breakfast. Lovely sunny patio/beer garden. Plenty of parking.
The bedroom was comfortable and had a lovely shower. We had breakfast and dinner at the property which were delicious.
The staff were very friendly and informative.
Location was good and convenient for us. Free parking was available on site.
Well situated. We were doing Hadrian's Wall. It was just in the right place. It was modern inside. Spacious rooms. Very clean. Staff thoughtful and bright. Everything worked. We ate a decent evening meal and a good breakfast. They let us leave a car there all day as we walked westwards to Brocolitia car park.
They left milk in little bottles on the landing for a good cup of tea.
