The staff at the Sugar Boat were as helpful and polite as anywhere I have been, nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was cheerful and made us feel welcome. Fantastic breakfast. Helensburgh is a lovely friendly place. I would recommend the Sugar boat to anyone

The property had obviously been refurbished recently.. The room was beautiful & very clean. There was a great selection of coffee, tea & herbal teas. Although we didn't meet any staff we were given clear instructions on how to access the room. There was a very good cafe downstairs where we enjoyed breakfast. There was local street parking.
The lions den is a great place as a base to go exploring.the flat was clean and everything catered for.free parking was a bonus and is situated near all the shops/pubs/restaurants etc. Paul the owner was in contact prior to our trip and was brilliant to give us all the info we needed.
The property is really central, very clean and so warm. Has everything you could possibly need. Beds were super comfy, had a great nights sleep. Secure parking, secure entrance and really quiet street. Very good value for money we will definitely be back.
Such amazing views across the Clyde. Comfortable and clean. Kevin was very quick to sort out the pop-up plug in bathroom basin when it got stuck! Nice to have off street parking. So convenient to be able to walk to Gourock for station etc. The bus service was handy as well!
