We loved our stay at the Home from Home B&B and John and Val were the most wonderful, friendly, fun and helpful hosts - they honestly couldn't do enough for us. John kindly drove us to and from Hartland Quay, before and after our walk as well as back from the pub that evening (as it was pouring with rain) all of which were above and beyond what we would ever expect. The breakfast was the best we had throughout our entire 5 day stay along the SW coast path, just delicious and accompanied by much laughter as John and Val relayed hilarious tales of their years living and working in France. Ooh la la!!!

Uniquely situated on the South West Coast Path, the Hartland Quay Hotel boasts an outdoor seating area leading to the sandy Quay Beach. The hotel also offers a museum, a bar, and stunning sea views.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Great ensuite room with view across fields to the sea. Room has own table & chairs, crockery, & stocked fridge & fresh coffee. Substantial continental breakfast left outside the room each morning - great not having to get up for breakfast ! Lovely host. Plenty of parking. In the area - don't miss the beautiful historical buildings - Bush Inn for evening meals (booking strongly advised), Morwenstow Church & adjacent Rectory Tearooms with parking & 10 minute walk to coast path & Hawkers Hut.
