The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of places nearby to get an evening meal and we enjoyed an Indian meal in Bakewell and a pub meal at the Ashford Arms. We were meeting our daughter and the accommodation was perfect for catching up with family as there was a private sitting room. It was very quiet which was much appreciated.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The hotel is very quaint. It's old and charming. The staff are very friendly and the food is excellent, which was a surprise for a hotel that is quite out of the way. There is walk from the back of the hotel up a hill and well worthwhile. The back garden area is lovey. Good bathrooms. Parking across the road.
Great location, parking right outside, clean and tidy room, friendly attentative staff, good atmosphere inside the pub, Lovley garden at the back, food was great.
Lovely warm welcome. Clean room with amazing views. Quiet location, very little road noise if any. Good shower and super breakfast. Friendly host, exceptionally helpful. Parking space.
Beautiful decor, good room size and nice private bathroom. Good parking and the food was great. Staff were lovely and the location is great for exploring locally.
Owners of the B&B very welcoming and warm. Also very helpful with advice on nearby places of interest. The location was lovely and tranquil, but lots of shops, pubs and restaurants in nearby villages. Excellent breakfast with a variety of options. The room was spacious and clean. Also the bed was very comfortable. Free parking on site is an advantage. Altogether a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.
Very cosy. Log burner most welcome. Room was small but had everything you need.
