Receptionist/manager was outstanding. Centrally located, easy to access from car parking in the town square, and just a few yards from the sea - good for a short walk.Food was good.
The central location was perfect and free parking not too far away. The bed had a squeak but it was perhaps the comfiest bed I have ever slept on. The bedroom is at the back of the property too so it is very quiet despite being on the main road.
Lots of free parking in the Square at the front. The menu in the restaurant has lots of gluten free options which was good for my wife. Food was excellent and even had gluten free sticky pudding. The whole hotel was clean. Breakfast was also really good with a good variety of cooked meals. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Breakfast superb; location fantastic; separate restaurant to rear of hotel with a really good menu. The hotel bar is open until 1.00am on Saturday nights and used by locals. There is some noise, but generally considerate and rooms are double glazed - with windows shut you hear nothing. Friendly staff, comfortable beds, free on-street parking.
The room was clean and had all the facilities we expected. The bonus was the free parking nearby and being able to have our evening meal and breakfast on the premises.
The hotel is very central and there is free parking in a public car park to the rear. You'll have to use your map to get to it via the one way system! You have to pay to park in the square in front.
The room was very clean and comfortable, with a good size bathroom.
We were on the 2nd floor but there is a lift.
The building has a lot of history and it's great to see it preserved.
Breakfast not included, but the pub underneath serves a range of breakfasts until 11:30 with bottomless tea and coffee for a very cheap price
