Our host Terry was very welcoming and generous. The accommodation was new and fresh and ideal for our visit, very comfortable and well equipped. The good weather was a bonus, allowing us to use the large private outdoor area and sun loungers.

Lauren was the most exceptional host and nothing was too much trouble.
The apartment is absolutely stunning, it far exceeded my expectations and is a credit to the wonderful host.
It was very tastefully decorated and had everything you needed to have a comfortable home from home stay.
The location is excellent and within walking distance to the main town centre but this did not affect the stay as the area is very quiet.
This has been a very enjoyable stay and once again thank you Lauren, you are a delightful host.

Overlooking the Mersey Estuary, the Royal Hotel is a 5-minute walk to Waterloo Merseyside Train Station. It offers en suite bedrooms, The Marine View Restaurant, free Wi-Fi and free parking.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The host Laura was excellent in her pre-stay communication, and the room itself was superb. We had the entire top floor, it was like a self contained flat. The room was superb, very high quality and incredibly well maintained. The bed was super comfy and the shower was powerful. Tea, coffee and snacks were provided also which was a nice touch. We were made to feel super welcome, and the parking outside was spot on. Incredibly easy to find too.

The bungalow is located in a residential area and has parking for two cars on the drive. There is a fenced garden at the rear with a patio area and table and chairs. The en-suite main bedroom is of a good size and each of the 3 bedrooms has a wardrobe, radiator and double glazed windows. The open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen is spacious. The local shops, superstore, coast and NT car parks can be reached within an easy 5-10minute drive. We can recommend the Sparrowhawk pub for delicious food.
The location is excellent for central Formby - everything is very easy walking distance and the car parking space means you can easily go further if you want to. Lovely little balcony to sit out on - we saw an amazing geese migration whilst we were sat there (1,000s of geese!)
James was so helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast included was great with the added bonus of bacon butties! Great location and parking 👌. Our dog was also very welcome with park just a few minutes walk away
