Everything was perfect - well equipped, clean, cosy and in beautiful surroundings. Caroline, our host bent over backwards to ensure everything went smoothly with our one night stay, which was required for attending a wedding nearby.

The property was adjoining a pub which is convenient if you wish to use the facilities. The property had everything you could need for your stay including TV and free Wi-Fi. Lovely historic pub that served amazing food. Beautiful terraced garden at the rear with a spectacular view. The breakfast was excellent. The room was definitely 16th century with sloping floors and non square door frames. Amazing history. Car parking was good. The village is very nice and we wandered up to the village recreation space to watch cricket being played. Lovely church and buildings in the High Street. A must see place.

The flat was ideally located for our purposes. Piltdown is a small hamlet on a main road but we didn't hear any noise in the flat. The flat was located directly behind the pub which provided an excellent evening meal and also Sunday lunch. The car park was large with no problems in finding a parking space. We enjoyed watching wild deer making themselves at home in the grounds in the evening. Fraser and Annie were excellent hosts and we would definitely use the flat in future.
