This was probably our best stay during our two weeks in Scotland. The owner couple are incredibly welcoming, genuine and knowledgeable about the area. The room was beautiful, spacious and impeccably clean, there is a terrace with stunning views over the bay and directly adjacent one can watch the owner's herd of special breed sheep. And in the morning theres a small picnic bag waiting in front of the door. Can't get better than that.

Room was a good size and in pretty good condition. They also use a lot of sustainable toiletries. We were also told well in advance that the nearest restaurant is only open for a couple hours in the evening, so we were able to plan accordingly and we appreciated the heads up.

I think Torridon YH is one of the best hostels I have stayed in. The team who run it are fantastic, and so warm and friendly, and so helpful, I had such a banter with them all.The whole place is spotless, a fantastic kitchen with everything for cooking and 3 cookers. The bedrooms were clean and spotless, and I was lucky to be put in a room with a shower and toilet too. Beds were very comfy too. There was nothing I didnt like while staying there.
