The location is peaceful, deep in the Dorset countryside. The hosts are wonderful, this is our second stay and they made us feel like friends.The room we had on both occasions was spacious, clean with immaculate bathroom facilities. The Breakfast choices were excellent, catering for everyone's pallet and cooked to perfection.
Offering a garden and garden view, The Hideaway is situated in Tollard Royal, 32 km from Salisbury Cathedral and 33 km from Salisbury Train Station.

The Hideaway is a delightful, secluded mini studio apartment in the garden of Kay and Mark's home near Tollard Royal. We enjoyed four very comfortable nights there. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, the bed was super comfortable, the terrace afforded fantastic views of the surrounding countryside, and there was parking right outside. It was very useful to have small the fridge/freezer, microwave and simple cooking facilities to make ourselves breakfast and light meals. Kay and Mark were really friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We would absolutely recommend the Hideaway - such a great find!

Everything was great - staff, food, location. Rooms are cute and very cozy, making you really immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the English contryside. The surrounding area is so peaceful, so green and so beautiful.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Easy parking, large room with comfortable bed and good quality pillows. Friendly, professional staff, and excellent food, both dinner (by the log fire) and breakfast. We'd definitely return.
The accommodation was to a high standard and the welcome was exceptional. We used the Cow Shed as a base for our family mini break with lots of days out around Dorset within an hour (many much closer). Really great village location and a wonderful place to stay with the bonus of two parking spaces and two (lovely) bathrooms. Just wonderful!
