Booking was extremely easy. There was extensive information left for me in a folder in the flat. It was beautifully clean. It had all I needed and I was delighted to find that there were loads of electrical sockets! Older buildings can sometimes be lacking in this area but it was great. Millport was great and I had a very relaxing cycling holiday. I'm hoping to use this flat again in the future.

This is a really cute wee place where you would absolutely enjoy a few days in wonderful Millport. Coming in the front door I was met with a really cute room with a fireplace, cut wood, and comfortable looking settee. I didn’t really cook as the oppo went to a cousin in Penicuik but the kitchen looked as if,it had just been installed, ie Indesit washing machine, a new cooker which was far too complicated for this Aussie expat and cupboards with salt, pepper and even tomato and brown sauce. I don’t think the fridge had even been used and there was a vacuum cleaner and other things to,keep,the house clean. The bathroom was unexpected with the shower having a coloured light and all looked brand new. The bedroom was an interesting thing as it does pretty well take up the whole room but that’s maybe a good,thing when it’s called 'Couoles retreat" and you have to jump,over the other to get to your side where you could stop half way! The unit is literally less than 50 metres from the beach although the council,were in the middle,of upgrading. I met the lovely owner Maureen on the way out and had a good natter about all things Scottish.... which for this Scot was great. Loved it and loved Millport still,after 62 years away. Sorry Maureen but my photos were taken with my old old camera which can’t upload,to the net. Thanks heaps and it was a tremendous two,days.
