Lovely little place which was really peaceful. Everything was provided and the bed was so comfortable. Near the A1 but never heard anything when inside. Perfect stay which for the price was brilliant.

Location fab, lovely quiet site, caravan was clean and had everything we needed for a nice 4 day break. Had a journey out to Amble and a fantastic meal at the Cook and Barker Inn at Newton le Moor. Overall it was a lovely relaxing break and the dog loved walking round the lake and in the woods.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Reception and dining room staff were friendly and welcoming. The grounds are very attractive as is the main hall. Quite a long drive from the main 'A' road on single track but plenty of passing points. Loads of parking available and quiet at night for a good sleep.
A large country house in the countryside, near the A1. Rooms are large (with very high ceilings) and beds are comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Plentiful parking is available by the side of the hotel, and you can walk around the grounds. The evening restaurant serves a good dinner, with good food and excellent service.
We loved our room which had a view over the walled garden. Unfortunately up a flight of stairs, but we coped. Our first night's dinner was good but on the subsequent nights, dinner was served in a rather bleak hall which was not as cozy. Perfect location for exploring nearby attractions such as Bamburgh Castle, the puffins and Holy Isle. No parking issues and easy access to our rooms.
Beautiful house and location, staff very friendly and helpful, singing chef a nice bonus. Breakfast 1st class, room was super. Parking easy, plenty of spaces. Very secluded spot.
Beautiful house with immaculate gardens.
Evening meal exceptional as was breakfast although did have to ask for marmalade - just our preference.
Lovely individual room in the stables blick with private parking right outside the door which was a big help due to my mums disability. Wonderfully comfy beds..
Would definatley stay again.
