One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Excellent breakfast included in the price, including locally sourced products. Lots of parking, excellent range of drinks available including no less than 4 cask ales. High quality evening meal. Very quiet location. We will definitely return!
The location is superb, in beautiful countryside and quieter than neighbouring Castleton. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean room with a newly refurbished bathroom. A very large garden with lots of seating. Also plenty of parking space which is a bonus. From the moment of checking in to leaving, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This was my first visit to the area so the suggestions of walks that I could do were greatly appreciated...........and fantastic!!
Perfect location as a base for walks like Kinder Scout. Felt nice and warm, both downstairs with the log fires and upstairs in the room, despite minus temperatures outside! Comfy double bed. Tasty cooked breakfast, complete with homemade jams. Welcoming staff made us feel at home. Excellent bath. Pub food delicious too - including tasty soup, perfect after a day in the hills! Parking available.
Comfortable, well-maintained room with great views. The staff were all helpful, polite and welcoming. Lively, fun bar with a very pleasant beer garden. Breakfast was great. Wifi worked very well. Free tea / coffee / biscuits in the room. Free parking and also close to the rail station but nevertheless very quiet at night.
The location of the property is perfect, it's right in between the two pubs and 5 mins walk from the station.
It's also only a few minutes from the start of the Pennine Way, so excellent walking right from the door.
The property was well equipped with mugs and glasses.
I thought it was great there was two bathrooms, one en-suite and one by the main entrance way.
There is also lots of private parking, which is needed in Edale!
Edale is a beautiful place .
And the winery is superb perfect location for walking in the area. free parking is bonus..appartment is all you need for a holiday fully fitted kitchen to high standard.bed really comfortable.. would certainly go again.
I made my own breakfast and found the cottage/flat all that I required. Location is great and staff were very helpful when I appeared to have lost an item (my prescription sunglasses), which they located. Car parking space was available and part of the deal.
great location, excellent staff, lovely food. the cottage was lovely and warm on arrival, and it had everything you would need for a short stay. there was an allocated car parking space at the rear of the pub for the cottage, so parking for one car wasn't a problem. despite being directly over the pub, you couldn't hear any noise from below. there is a general store at the campsite just over the road that has lovely local produce. breakfast in the morning was big and very tasty. all in all, a great place.
