Staff were superb. Really friendly and welcoming. We greatly enjoyed the garden tour and the Michelin star dinner. We came mainly for the gardens and were not let down.

The size of this place is so impressive and yet oddly doesn't feel too big for two people. It has a superb layout with great characteristic features. Amazing kitchen with a nice big oven. The upstairs lounge is very relaxing. The WiFi worked fine but the welcome book needs updating though, as the WiFi information is not current.
Typically we got good old UK weather (plenty of rain), which turned the rear garden into a muddy pond. This sadly stopped us from using the hot tub, as the ground was so wet. Had the weather been better we would have definitely used it.

We liked the room, which was a decent size. Decent sized old fashioned bed with wooden headboard. Views over the churchyard, with lovely sound of church bells in the morning which was fine.

The staff were amazing. We arrived early in the morning from Australia, we weren't expecting a room as check in wasn't until 3pm, but reception managed to find us a room within 20 minutes. The breakfast was incredible. Highly recommend staying at the Crown Plaza Felbridge.

Excellent location. Quiet and rural. A selection of eateries within a short drive. Hosts were welcoming and accommodating Cooking an early breakfast so that we could attend our event on time. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and bright. Bed really comfy.

When we arrived we found ample parking next to the house entrance it is safe and secure we were met by the lovely owner and the entrance was so beautiful immaculately presented with exquisite taste and decor
Our room “Lotus room” was so beautiful the design and the furniture was quality materials with luxury bedding and towels the room was quiet and so comfortable with beautiful additions like iced water and unique herbal teas something different than the usual teas in chain hotels
The bed was so so comfortable at times I felt I was lying on a marshmallow so soft and luxurious
The only sad thing was for us was our early start so we didn’t get to sample the breakfast but with that said I have no doubt it would be as fantastic as the hotel and the luxuries with in it
The host was so helpful and polite and what we didn’t know at the time you can leave your car at this hotel for a fee while you go on holiday it is far cheaper than the other parking locations and it’s actually looked after not just shoe horned into a small space in a field

Hotel was lovely !! Staff were kind and helpful. Bedroom was spacious, everything we needed. Only criticism is the mattress was too hard but that’s personal preference. Spa was nice used several times, including the gym. Small but useful. Hot tub was very hot. We parked which was free parking when you register your car at reception. 30min walk into town but it is up hill.
25 mins from Pooh corner which is why we visited. And we had dinner in the star inn which is a stone throw from the hotel which was really lovely food!
Lilly was smiling and very helpful. She was there when I arrived and took me trhough the basics for the apartment in a good way. And the free parking palce for my rental car was a wonderful bonus. It was always a parking space when I needed it.

Cranston House is a lovely old house. Brian was a welcoming, friendly and informative host. It was clean and comfortable, conveniently situated for an evening meal within walking distance and close enough to Gatwick airport for an early morning flight. I liked that fresh milk was offered as an alternative to the UHT capsules. There is a little fridge in the room. There is also off street parking.
