Dinner was absolutely superb. Generous portions. The asparagus starter was to die for and my family loved their steak and ale pies. So much so, that we asked to compliment the chef who was thrilled. Breakfast was great, generous portions again. The room was very comfortable and being on a main road the pub was located conveniently for where we came from and were going to. Not too noisy and I could imagine sitting outside on a summer's evening having a drink. Loads of parking at the back of the pub. My cousin had gifted us a bottle of wine before we arrived and we were offered a selection to choose from. Staff was very knowledgeable about the local vineyards. Scarlet took care of us and was incredibly friendly! Beverly was on duty the following morning and was great.

We had a lovely stay, the apartment is nice and contained with lots of amenities. We were going to an event and needed to drop the car off earlier than the check in time and we returned quite late at night. As the property is a lock box check in this was super easy.
