Hosts were very friendly and accommodating to our vegan diet. The rooms were spacious, clean and had a great view. The garden was lovely and we hope to visit again.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Property is easy to locate. The host, through booking.com, sent driving directions in advance, which was appreciated. The property is quiet. The hosts were friendly. The hosts were awaiting our early arrival...having just got off the plane in Edinburgh. They have three in-house dogs, which we really enjoyed.
Ensuite room was on the main floor. On site-parking is provided. Hosts provided us with a courtesy discount to nearby Maitland Castle.
Very warm and helpful hosts, Excellent breakfast exactly as requested, Easy on street parking, Good location for very scenic area. Limited number of shops and eating places in village but enough to cater for all tastes. Provision of fresh milk in flask to keep cool a bonus. Excellent views from room.
