Our flight from Bristol Airport was around midday so we travelled from Cornwall and spent the night before here. We were welcomed warmly on arrival and later in the early evening we were given complimentary welcoming glass of wine. The room was comfortable with well thought out facilities. Parking was free and near the room (our room was just across the courtyard but there were other rooms in the main building). We reserved a table for dinner later that evening and the food was brilliant and the atmosphere friendly and busy. The staff cannot be faulted. We slept well and the breakfast the next morning was excellent. I realised that our boarding passes had not been printed properly at home and the staff rallied round and helped me to reprint them. Nothing was too much trouble. We shall return.

Different rooms to enjoy and relax in . Lovely arrive to tea and cake .
The gardens were lovely to walk around . We stayed in the Butterfly Room and had stunning view towards Wells and beyond . The staff were really friendly and informative . Would Highly recommend
p. s I don’t usually bother writing a review . I was very impressed so wanted to support this small but very lovely country House Hotel .
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The beds were super comfortable in the main bedrooms - the double bunk was a bit squeaky for a 16-year old.
The location was perfect - a little shop close by, parking for one car, easy access to dog walks and West Mendip Way.
Lovely accommodation if you like something a little different that stands out.
Converted old building, with a quality finish. The shower is large and strong pressure. Beds comfortable. Linen, quality and fresh.
Good parking for 2 or 3 cars.
There is a HUGE (100 inch?) HD TV - fast Internet and a football table!
We had an electrical issue during our stay (these things happen) and Anthony from Pass the Keys accommodation got straight onto organising an emergency electrician to sort it out immediately.
Top marks.
Great little property perfect for our needs. Clean and cosy, lots of useful hand/face towels. Great to be able to go down to the pub too.
Parking available and great surrounding areas for walks. Cheddar very close also.
