The room was really clean, spacious and smelt lovely. The area was really quiet too :) The staff member Carl (I believe he could be the owner) was really friendly and even let us check in 2hrs early. Short drive to the national park and a town centre with shopping & activities facilities and restaurants. Lots of car parking spaces (free) and a cafe right next door, we came Saturday - Sunday so unfortunately didn’t get to try the food Sunday morning but smelt lovely Saturday afternoon. If we returned to Dowlais we would definitely consider staying again - very good value for money.

It was exactly what we needed for the 6 of us, plenty of space with a decent sized kitchen with everything you would expect from a normal household, a large dining room with large table with enough seating and separate lounge with ample seating both of which had good size smart t.vs. It came with the wifi password so internet was good, shower room upstairs and downstairs, ample parking and the location is brilliant for us using the bike park as we could peddle there from the property in 15 mins so we didn't need to bother with a full carpark at the bike park. This house caters for bikes as out back there is a really secure lockup for all 6 of our bikes, bike tools, stands and an area to clean bikes charging points ect. We will be using again next year and after speaking to the property owner he says he has more ideas for a bit of land out back which we will be looking forward to seeing again next year.

Beautiful interior, lots of character. Luxury furnishings. Feather down quilt, luxury feather pillows. Double lined hand made thermal curtains beautifully made. High quality furniture, beautiful fixture and fittings. Lovely homemade Welsh cakes in a cute little glass dome, and real milk in the fridge, not your normal long life pods. Nice touch!

Amazing place to stay with family. Great host and whole place is magical. Definitely recommending to everyone who loves incredible views and animals.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The host has put a lot of effort into renovating the accommodation. It's ideal for mountain bikers and anyone who is staying for outdoor activities. The accommodation is functional- The shower is good, wifi is good and beds are comfy. The parking at the rear is very convenient and its very close to a bus stop which can take you to Cardiff. The host was also very responsive to any queries we had.

Great location and great place to stay a few nights when exploring Brecon Beacons. Has everything you need. Took off a point for the wifi/internet. Place was super clean, super quiet and has plenty of parking. Really useful to have a fully functional kitchen and oven.

The apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything you'll need for your stay. In a great location to explore Brecon Beacons. There isn't any allocated parking, but there's a car park about 100 yards away, which is free. The host was friendly & welcoming, recommending places to visit and eat. There's a premier store opposite where the owner can be found if needed. Would definitely stay again and recommend 👌
Carl, Sharon and the rest of the team were very inviting, friendly and looked after me well while I was hiking alone in the lovely Brecon Beacons for 4 days.
There free parking too.
The room had a lovely scent when going in. TV was decent too.
There's a decent cafe which is not expensive next door which is good if you want a quick breakfast.
It also located near variety shops/supermarket so you can purchase items if you need to.
