The hosts, Kay and Mark were so lovely. They took the time to welcome me and explain everything. They went above their heads to think of things to do for me in Wales. The food in their bar is awesome, especially the cheesecake homemade bij Kay. It is just like sitting in the living room. This is the vibe from their bar/restaurant.

Centrally located in Hay on Wye just 2min walk to castle and all town facilities. Spacious and versatile property with great rainfall showers in the three en-suites and comfortable beds. Characterful outside with easy to use modern interior.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The breakfast was excellent. We also had a very nice evening meal and drinks at the very friendly and close Pandy Inn.
The room was very spacious, clean and peaceful. It also had a very nice large shower. There was good car parking right next to our room. There were lovely views from the rear garden and breakfast area to a field full of wild flowers. There are also some very nice walks around the Dorstone area that have great views as well.
Magdalena made us very welcome and we enjoyed our chats with her as she cooked our lovely breakfasts.
Had a very enjoyable couple of nights. Great location for walks in the Black Mountains and for Hay-on-Wye. Friendly welcome and good recommendations for local walks. Spacious clean rooms. Plenty of room for parking. Generous breakfast with fresh fruit.
