The shower was brilliant in our bathroom & the bath was huge. The bathroom was a very good size. The bed was very comfortable & the whole room was very clean. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was included in the price & the staff were very happy to provide all we asked for. The pub seemed very old but apparently had burnt down in 2008 but had been rebuilt very well & has kept its old fashioned charm

It was great to be met by the owner upon our arrival. The thatched cottage was furnished to a very high standard, extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean and offering all you could possibly need to enjoy a relaxing break away, it even had a pretty private garden and parking was available right outside. It was set in a lovely peaceful village with a good pub/ restaurant and a well stocked shop within a few minutes walk away. Perfect for couples, we would definitely recommend staying at Christmas Cottage!

Beautiful pub, lovely setting, nice room with a sweet old fashioned feel to it. Chef makes an amazing breakfast, not to be missed! Had an evening meal at the pub which was also very good. Nice beer garden to sit out in when we arrived. Parking right outside.
