A beautiful big house in the countryside and only a 10 minute walk through a park to Badminton House. The owners were extremely welcoming. We had a cup of tea and biscuits in the garden on arrival in the sunshine, which was lovely after a long drive. The house is nicely appointed and well within reach of Bath and various other local areas of interest. The friendly and generous nature of the owners coupled with a beautiful breakfast and very comfortable rooms make this place a very enjoyable visit.

The Hare and Hounds Hotel is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The restaurant and bar had a lovely, cozy atmosphere, the food and service were excellent, and the drawing room and library were perfect for enjoying a glass of wine or coffee by the fire. I stayed in a room in the main building, which was beautiful, spacious, clean, and well-equipped with great amenities. The breakfast was delicious and offered everything you could want (and more).
The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, which really enhanced my stay. As a solo female traveler visiting a slightly remote area (although there are many great destinations just a few minutes’ drive away), staying at a hotel can feel a bit daunting. However, I felt completely relaxed and safe, allowing me to fully enjoy my stay. The reception team also put me in contact with a local chauffeur service (Steven) and he was incredibly friendly and took me to a couple of different locations around Tetbury. He was very reasonably priced, provided a 10/10 service and I would highly recommend him if you have travelled by the train and need to get around the Cotswolds.
I'm honestly surprised this hotel isn't rated 5 stars, as it’s one of the loveliest and coziest hotels I’ve stayed at, with every little detail thoughtfully considered by the management team. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

It’s a very characterful 17th century old pub hotel right in middle of very attractive Cotswold town . Lively atmosphere in the pub with good restaurant . Hotel rooms spacious and clean . Staff enthusiastic on service if a little unpolished !
The stylish and friendly Priory Inn is a privately-owned hotel and restaurant, just a few minutes' walk from Tetbury's shops and a 5-minute drive from the National Arboretum at Westonbirt.

Fabulous hotel staff friendly ,efficient and helpful, food exceptional for evening meal , waiting staff and bar staff great , and a lovely breakfast
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Location, parking and beer garden good as well as mini lounge in room (twin bed Samson). Nice old pub. Lovely to see that people were enjoying themselves with their dogs in tow.
The room was super comfortable. They put us in the little cottage next to the parking and it was lovely. Staff was super friendly and the food was delicious
Lovely setting in the village in close proximity to Westonbirt Arboretum.
The food both evening and breakfast was great.
My room on the first floor of the detatched building was lovely.
Big enough car park for guests and people using pub.
Breakfast good. Staff very pleasant and very helpful. Evening meal didn't have enough vegetarian options in my opinion.
Parking excellent. A good stay and I would recommend the accommodation to my friends.
Thank you
Great room with fresh milk for your tea & coffee. Gorgeous beer garden with a pizza oven. Fabulous food & wine and great value. Plenty of parking and a lovely quiet location. Staff were brilliant so a great stay.
