The lodge was spotless ,the hosts very friendly and helpful. The pub only next door was very good! Thoroughly recommend. Good location for rural visits,walks and relaxation.

The location of the property is amazing very rural and great for a quiet secluded getaway. It has plenty of outside space that is exclusively yours for the stay, which includes woodland walkway basketball court (if your feeling energetic) outside sun deck veranda with seating and table for alfresco dining fully equipped kitchen the bed was spacious and very comfortable. VERY dog friendly with lots of off lead places to roam. all in all a very relaxing place, would be the ideal place for a wellness/meditation retreat.

    Good location .. very quaint .. have stayed before and will stay again as has parking on the street outside all mod cons dishwasher fridge oven and hob Woodburner Nice touch providing Xmas trees and arrangements and candles … The owner was very responsive when phoned as we had a power cut and was already sitting outside when we decided to alert him as he had had a notification already
