The staff was super friendly and helpful. The home made pastries were best I have ever had, thank you! It felt very homely and seeing the lovely garden and the horses through the dining room window was super nice and relaxing.

The location was superb and the whole visit from start to finish was excellent.

Although our room was outside off the car parking area, probably the stables from an old coaching inn, it was reasonably well appointed given the price point we paid. The room was a decent size, the bed was comfortable and there were tea and coffee making facilities.
The only minor quibble was that the waste water in the bathroom was obviously cleared by a pump/macerator system and the noise from this droned on for a few minutes after any of the bathroom fittings had been used.
Good fried breakfast in the morning.
We didn’t use the pool and gym during our stay so cannot comment.
Plenty of parking - the signs in the car park suggest you pay but it’s free when you put your number plate into the tablets in reception
We booked breakfast for one morning, quite expensive but lots of choice and everything was delicious.
Overall and excellent hotel with all the services we needed. The swimming pool was lovely. This is a dog friendly hotel and our pooch was most welcome.

The Granary is a series of ground floor en suite rooms arranged around a large lawned area. It is set some distance from the main hall in a quiet location. Car parking is near to the rooms and a breakfast room is also on site with reception open at set times. The room we had was well appointed and comfortable.
Great location for the wedding we attended. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely food from the restaurant and great choice for breakfast!
