Excellent location. Quiet and rural. A selection of eateries within a short drive. Hosts were welcoming and accommodating Cooking an early breakfast so that we could attend our event on time. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and bright. Bed really comfy.

Staff were superb. Really friendly and welcoming. We greatly enjoyed the garden tour and the Michelin star dinner. We came mainly for the gardens and were not let down.

The size of this place is so impressive and yet oddly doesn't feel too big for two people. It has a superb layout with great characteristic features. Amazing kitchen with a nice big oven. The upstairs lounge is very relaxing. The WiFi worked fine but the welcome book needs updating though, as the WiFi information is not current.
Typically we got good old UK weather (plenty of rain), which turned the rear garden into a muddy pond. This sadly stopped us from using the hot tub, as the ground was so wet. Had the weather been better we would have definitely used it.

Absolutely loved my stay on the 20/9. I stayed with me niece and nephew and they were over the moon with the change of scene we needed. A bonus we got to see deer running around it the morning. Rebecca was really helpful with any questions I had and easy to talk to. Only down side was having to leave, should definitely had booked an extra night!

Second time I've stayed at the Wheatsheaf. Fantastic service the team are warm, welcoming & attentive. Food is really good & they go the extra mile starting to early to make breakfast thank you the breakfast trays were amazing again, Much appreciated. Room was spotlessly clean. The live band on Saturday were great.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Nice clean property with all that you need. Good parking, nice garden round the back, could do with an area for dogs. You can walk through the garden to fields which is good. Staff very nice and friendly. We would be more than happy to stay again.
The isolated rural location with fields and birds was very good. Close proximity to the Bluebell Line.
The host was very helpful and made a very good breakfast.
The bedroom was very clean and well appointed with kettle and everything needed. (No TV in our room but we did not require one)
This was a farm and the host still has two horses and a cat.
